Yesterday in chemistry was ridiculously fun. We had a lab on the molar mass of butane that involved submerging butane underwater. The main point?�After the lab calculations, our goal was to set the butane on fire. So, we had Leigh come over and hold a lighted lighter over the water as we released the butane. Well, Julie released the butane, and for like�3 seconds,�nothing happened. We were like, "Aww, man" And then suddenly, BOOM. The whole area�went up in flames. Seeing as how it was us four girls, we all screamed. Everyone turned to look at us.�And�then we broke�out in laughter.�Ms. Markham�came�over and told us not to do that anymore unless she was there.�The hair on�Leighapos;s arm and knuckles were a bit singed....
